Reopening of Exporail: Track to Discovery starting on Friday, February 19, 2021
| |
SAINT-CONSTANT, February 15, 2021 - The Exporail team will be delighted to welcome visitors for the reopening of the museum on Friday, February 19, 2021. As it did last summer, Exporail will implement a series of preventive measures to ensure that the public can fully enjoy the museum in a pleasant and safe atmosphere. At first, visitors will be able to access to an immersive space with its 400 railway artifacts and to view magnificent archival images presented on screens. Then, they will continue their visit under the theatrical lighting of the permanent exhibition and access some railway vehicles. The pleasure of exploring this unique place is once again combined with exemplary health standards to attract a clientele of enthusiasts and families in great need of relaxation.
Like this summer, visitors will enter the museum through a new entrance with about 50 additional parking spaces. As one of the objectives is to minimize waiting time at the entrance and to control traffic on the site, all Exporail visitors will also be required to reserve their ticket(s) for a predetermined date and time via the museum’s electronic ticket booth, available on the museum's website. For the health and well-being of all, visitors with symptoms of COVID-19 must postpone their visit. Exporail counts on the cooperation of its visitors and reminds them of the importance of following these preventative measures: - Respect the hygiene measures posted on site: hand washing, electronic payment, sneezing and coughing into one’s elbow, no gathering.
- Respect signs and the social distancing of 2 metres.
- Respect one-way traffic.
- Wearing a face mask is required inside the Angus Pavilion.
- Hydroalcoholic gel stations are installed in the reception areas.
The animation team is looking forward to welcoming visitors and invites you to consult more information about the reopening.
